Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating an incident that occurred in Parkeston yesterday, Monday, 22 February 2021.
About 5.05pm, a Mack prime mover road train combination was
driving in a north easterly direction on Yarri Road whilst a train was travelling in a westerly direction on railway tracks. The road train combination and the train were involved in a collision at the railway crossing.The 43-year-old male truck driver received minor injuries. Both 70-year-old male train drivers were flown to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information…
